ISD has two campuses – one on each side of the same street:

If you arrive by plane at the Düsseldorf International Airport (DUS):

• A taxi will take about 10 minutes and will cost about EUR 20,00.

If you arrive by train at the Düsseldorf Hauptbahnhof (Central Station):

• Take the tram (“U-Bahn”) U79 direction “Kaiserswerth-Duisburg”.
• You need one ticket for zone “A” per person which costs EUR 2,70 and is available from an automatic dispenser at the main level of the station. Be sure to stamp your ticket as you go to the platform or in the stamping machine once you have entered the train, otherwise your ticket is not valid!
• The ride will take approximately 20 to 25 minutes.
• Get off at the stop (Haltestelle) “Kittelbachstrasse”. Ring the bell to alert the driver once you hear the announcement “Kittelbachstrasse”.
• Walk across the track and take the small road on your left (“Annostrasse”), walk over the bridge and then for another 250 metres until you reach “Niederrheinstrasse”.
• Turn left and after 200 metres you will see the elementary school campus is on your left and the senior school campus on your right.

If you travel by car: 

Coming from the A44 (Krefeld/Mönchengladbach)

• Take the exit “Düsseldorf-Stockum” and head towards “Duisburg”, “Düsseldorf-Kaiserswerth”. You will automatically merge onto the B8.
• Take the left lane on the B8 and turn left at the first traffic light.
• You are now on “Niederrheinstrasse”. Stay on this street, making a slight turn towards the right (do not turn right onto “Alte Landstrassse”). Our two campuses will appear on both sides of the street after approximately 300 metres.

Coming from the A44 (Ratingen/Airport)

• The exit “Kaiserswerth”. You will automatically merge onto the B8.
• Take the left lane on the B8 and turn left at the first light.
• You are now on “Niederrheinstrasse”. Stay on this street, making a slight turn towards the right (do not turn right onto “Alte Landstrassse”). Our two campuses will appear on both sides of the street after approximately 300 metres.

Coming from the A59 (Duisburg)

• Follow the signs towards “Düsseldorf”. When the A59 ends, keep left, driving towards “Düsseldorf” and merging onto the B8/B8n.
• After passing the sign for “D-Kaiserswerth” at the right side of the street, turn right at the traffic light.
• You are now on “Niederrheinstrasse”. Stay on this street, making a slight turn towards the right (do not turn right onto “Alte Landstrassse”). Our two campuses will appear on both sides of the street after approximately 300 metres.
